Press and PR-opportunities on my travel blog aimed at female solo travellers. Be part of the anecdotes and thoroughly researched info!

about me

I’m Renata Green and I founded this travel blog in March 2017.

The main reason for writing a blog was that as a passionate traveller, I got asked time and time again how I manage to travel the world independently – especially as a solo-travelling woman.

Firstly, where do I get all the inspiring ideas and relevant information that make my travels exciting yet smooth? Then, how do I plan my routes and compose my individual itineraries?
After all, I’m not a full-time globetrotter but I’m holding a regular job – I’m working in PR for a federation in Hamburg – and have relatively generous but still quite limited time slots for my trips.

As a matter of fact, my intention is to prove that you can be a devoted flashpacker, a poverty jet setter, and a nomad by heart even with a day job. But most of all, it is absolutely possible to do it on your own. It can be great fun exploring the world as a female solo traveller – I’m living proof and with my blog, I’m encouraging others to at least give it a try.

about the bye:myself travel blog

Working in the field of journalism, I see that there is still a large undiscovered potential in my age group when it comes to digital and social media.

Since I created my blog, I was able to build a loyal and engaged audience, enjoying my personal and authentic narratives, trusting my honest opinion, and relying on my information and recommendations.
Also, the number of my followers on the associated social media is constantly growing.

However, I’m positive that over the next years and even decades, the baby boomers will join the digital natives and exchange print for online journalism and social media.

So with my blog, I’m ready for them.

about cooperation opportunities with bye:myself

Community marketing is the power of the masses: Instead of focusing on anonymous contacts, community marketing is aimed at a loyal community of people who voluntarily and intensively devote themselves to a topic. Hence, communities actively exchange information about relevant services and products.

Therefore, interactions are the new scope in community marketing.

As a matter of fact, range alone is not enough to create positive brand awareness and have a lasting impact on purchasing decisions. Consequently, for market success, it is essential to emotionalize services and products. Bloggers like myself give them a face, obviously.

Native advertisement is key.

Therefore, I believe that cooperation with experienced travel bloggers is a great way for all parties to use community marketing: The blogger gets funds and support in running his or her blog, the cooperation partner gets the service or product promoted in the most genuine, emotional, and credible way, and finally, the reader gets tons of inspiration and information first hand, well written – and for free.

Therefore, on my blog and the respective social media, I’m offering a range of cooperation opportunities:

sponsored posts | travel journalism content creation | brand ambassadorship

Together with selected cooperation partners, I like to create individual and unique sponsored posts. Individual and uniqueness are key, however, difficult to extract from a ready-made press trip.
Although I might consider these, my experience proves that individual trips give me a wholly different perspective which is reflected in my one-of-a-kind articles.

Hence, are you interested in me telling my readers about your country, your region, your city, your hotel, your tours, and your services? Then I’m looking very much forward to hearing from you: mail@byemyself.com

about compliance

Obviously, all posts reflect my own opinion, and travelogues are based on my personal experiences. Hence, if products, companies, brands, or services are introduced and recommended as part of the cooperation, I have tested, tried, and got to know them myself beforehand. Consequently, I am not using pre-written press texts or text elements.

Cooperations are marked accordingly and links to products, companies, brands, or services set as part of cooperation are provided as no-follow links.
